Outpatient psychiatry consultations

Ramsay Mental Health works with psychiatrists who offer outpatient psychiatric consultations.

During an outpatient consultation, a patient visits their psychiatrist for assessment, diagnosis and treatment strategies.

The number and frequency of outpatient appointments will be decided by the patient and their psychiatrist.

Your GP or psychologist may recommend that you see a psychiatrist through a Ramsay Mental Health for a face-to-face consultation.

You may also visit your psychiatrist through Ramsay Mental Health if you require a face-to-face consultation following inpatient care, for a medication review or for psychotherapy.
