What to expect

When you receive care with Ramsay Mental Health, whether as an inpatient, day patient or through our psychological services, you can expect to feel safe and respected. All our services strive to make people feel comfortable and well cared for.

On entry to care, you will undergo an assessment to determine your specific care needs. Your psychiatrist or psychologist will then work with you to tailor a treatment program to meet your needs.

In the same way that we expect our staff to provide you with the best quality of care, we expect you treat those caring for you with respect. Offensive language or behaviour that interferes with our ability to care for our patients will not be tolerated.

We also expect you to participate fully in your recommended therapies in order to get the most out of your treatment and optimise your recovery.
