Monique is warm, thoughtful and empathic Clinical Psychologist. She places emphasis on the therapeutic relationship, understanding that taking that first step can be overwhelming.

Monique has experience working with people experiencing a range of psychological distress including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, disordered eating, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and addictions. Monique has a special interest in working with people living with schizophrenia and psychosis.

Monique has worked in settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health, forensic mental health, community based mental health and mental health support for people experiencing homelessness. She approaches all her work with compassion and provides a non-judgmental space.

Monique is trained in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition, Monique integrates  therapeutic frameworks, such as mindfulness, attachment and schema informed therapy.
