During his training, he worked in Child and Adolescent psychiatry inpatient units at the Royal and Monash Children’s hospitals.

Dr Fintan Harte

Dr Harte is a medical graduate of Trinity College Dublin and completed his post graduate psychiatry training in the United Kingdom and in Australia. He holds fellowship of both the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) and the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Dr Harte is also an Accredited Member of the Faculty of Addictions Psychiatry (RANZCP). In addition to addiction psychiatry, Dr Harte has an interest in gender and sexuality. He is the immediate past president of AusPATH (Australian Professional Association for Trans Health) and is a past director of the Monash Gender Clinic. Dr Harte is an Honorary Senior Clinical Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne. He is also a member of the Victorian Mental Health Tribunal. Dr Harte has published in the scientific literature and has been a keynote speaker at scientific meetings both nationally and internationally.

Dr Fiona Fairbrother

Dr Fiona Fairbrother completed medicine at the University of Queensland in 2010 and has been a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) since 2018. Dr Fairbrother is focussed on patient recovery within a holistic and trauma informed framework for people experiencing a wide spectrum of mental health conditions such as mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and psychosis. Dr Fairbrother has an interest in mental health of young adults, women’s mental health, and the developing field of sports psychiatry.Dr Fairbrother is a member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) and the International Society of Sports Psychiatry (ISSP).
