Dr Tahira Jabeen is a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.  She completed her psychiatry training in Australia and has more than 15 years’ experience of working in mental health services.

Dr Jabeen is experienced in comprehensive assessments and the development of management plans for patients aged between 18 – 65 years who have a variety of complex mental health disorders. Such as: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and psychosis. She has extensive experience in treating patients with a broad range of treatment options including medications, psychotherapy, and lifestyle interventions. Dr Jabeen works with a recovery-oriented and patient-focussed approach in close collaboration with families, general practitioners and other clinicians involved in the patient’s care.

Dr Jabeen also works as a Staff Specialist at the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District and is an accredited supervisor of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist for trainee Psychiatrists.

Dr Jabeen provides outpatient appointments at the Northside Group Wentworthville Consultation Suites and inpatient service at Northside Group Wentworthville Clinic.

About Dr Anila Jacob

Dr Jacob is a psychiatrist, with over 20 years of  experience. A Fellow of the Royal ANZ College of Psychiatrists, she is also a senior specialist in the public sector where she consults and supervises doctors in specialist training and medical students.

Treatment services

Dr Jacob has interests in mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, women’s mental health, and ADHD.  Treatment can be provided as an outpatient where she welcomes active participation of patients and carers.  She is also available to provide assessment and care plans to referrers including for eating, mood and anxiety disorders.

Telehealth is available for outpatient appointments.

Dr Jankovic is an experienced general psychiatrist with demonstrated history of working in a variety of medical settings. 

Dr Jankovic completed her fellowship locally and at The Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane .

She has a strong background in working in acute and rehabilitation psychiatry settings, prior to commencing her work at Bindarray Clinic in 2012 .Her practice is based on offering an holistic approach of  pharmacological and psychotherapeutic  treatment.

Her formal training in psychotherapy includes cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and mentalization based therapy (MBT).

Whilst not acceptng inpaients referrals, Dr Jankovic is now accepting referrals to our Day Programs whch include PTSD,Mood and Anxiety. Referrals for Day Program patients can be emailed to BindarrayClinic.BA@ramsayhealth.com.au.

Associate Professor Mahesh Jayaram is a senior psychiatrist who has over three decades experience. He trained in the UK and has been working in Melbourne since 2013. His clinical interests include the treatment of schizophrenia, mood and anxiety disorders, alcohol addiction, PTSD, ADHD, OCD and sleep disorders. He is a clinician researcher and has authored more than 40 peer reviewed publications. He is an invited speaker at national and international conferences.

Dr. Johansson is a psychiatrist with 30 years of experience, having worked across a range of inpatient and outpatient settings in Australia and Sweden. After returning to Australia following two decades abroad, she brings experience in mood disorders, psychotic disorders, mental health complications associated with autism spectrum disorders, and stress-related conditions.

Dr. Johansson is dedicated to addressing the needs and recovery journey of her patients, whether through direct contact or collaboration with their GP. She believes in each individual's inherent ability to understand and reconcile their experiences, paving the way for personal growth and recovery.

With specialist recognition in Sweden and a PhD from the Karolinska Institute, Dr. Johansson remains actively involved in research as the lead researcher for the Stockholm Forensic Psychiatry Project. In addition to her clinical work, she provides assessments for various mood and psychotic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, medicolegal reports, second opinions, and ongoing follow-up care

A/Prof Kasinathan is a Psychiatrist and is experienced in providing psychiatric assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults. He sees his patients as either inpatients or outpatients. Where required, an inpatient service is offered at Ramsay Clinic Northside where A/Prof Kasinathan is the Medical Director of the Adolescent and Young Adult Service.

A/Prof Kasinathan graduated with first class honours in Medicine from the University of Sydney. He is both a child and forensic psychiatrist: a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) with certification in forensic psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Apart from private psychiatric practice, his appointments are with NSW Justice Health, as Clinical Director for Adolescent Mental Health. He was previously clinical leader for the high-secure Adolescent Unit in the Forensic Hospital, the only unit of its kind in Australia. For a decade he was the senior forensic psychiatrist to Canberra’s only youth justice centre and forensic mental health service.

A/Prof Kasinathan has authored journal articles and a textbook chapter on forensic, child and adolescent psychiatry. His academic appointment is Conjoint Associate Professor with the School of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, University of NSW.

A/Prof Kasinathan provides forensic psychiatric assessments and reports for adults, children, adolescents and families.

Dr Anuradha Kataria is an experienced psychiatrist in both inpatient and community adult psychiatry. She has a patient-centred approach to the people she cares for, who have experienced psychotic illnesses, mood disorders and personality related issues, many of whom also suffered complex trauma.

She has a particular interest in education and training and has worked with medical students and trainee registrars as part of her roles with the University of Sydney and the college of Psychiatrists. She has additional training in long term psychdynamic psychotherapy.

Dr Kataria has a warm and empathic approach to mental health care.

Dr Kaufmann initially trained in paediatric medicine at the children's hospital at Westmead before switching to psychiatry.

In addition to her clinical work, she is a clinical lecturer at the University os Sydney, where she teaches medical students.  Dr Kaufmann also has positions as a clinical academic at Hornsby Hospital
