Dr Ling completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. He is skilled in applying the best evidence-based practices for the benefit of his patients and discussing issues such as diagnosis and treatments with his patients in an accessible way. He has been keenly involved in medical education since he was a junior doctor.

Dr Ling’s practice emphasises a holistic bio-psycho-social-cultural assessment and individualised formulation. He actively uses shared decision-making processes to implement a collaborative management plan that focuses on a person’s recovery goals. He is experienced in liaising with other medical and allied health professionals to achieve the best outcomes for his patients.

Dr Ling is also able to provide telehealth services to those who are based in rural and remote areas.

Colleen Loo is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of New South Wales, NHMRC Leadership Fellow and Professorial Fellow at the Black Dog Institute, Sydney; Australia. She qualified in medicine and psychiatry in Australia (MB BS, FRANZCP) and completed a research doctorate in 2003 (MD). She was chair of academic psychiatry at St George Hospital (2006-2021), founded the Neurostimulation service at the Black Dog Institute in 2014, and is Regional Medical Director of ECT and Interventional Psychiatry (including ketamine treatment) at Ramsay Clinics in Sydney. She was President of the International Society for ECT and Neurostimulation (2018-2020) and is an editorial board member of the journal Brain Stimulation.

Her research interests are in developing novel treatments for depression and other psychiatric disorders, focussing on transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation, electroconvulsive therapy and ketamine, and their effects on brain functioning. She has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers and has received grant funding from the Australian NHMRC, US-based NARSAD and Stanley Foundations, UK NHS/MRC and Singapore NMC.

Dr Luscombe has worked in the field of Psychiatry since 1991, including as a fully qualified consultant psychiatrist since 1999. Through those years, she has developed a practice as a Psychotherapist using a mix of therapeutic modalities including _insight-orientated therapies, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Based Psychotherapy. Professor Sloane Madden is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist recognised for his expertise in the management of eating, mood and anxiety disorders. Prof Madden has more than 25 years' experience in the field of eating disorders. He has been the Director of the Eating Disorder Service at Ramsay Clinic Northside (St Leonards) since 2017 has worked as the Medical Lead of the Eating Disorder Service at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and has been the Director of The Eating Disorder Service at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network NSW since 2000.

Professor Madden is a past President of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorder who awarded him a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and of the international Academy of Eating Disorders, where he was a board member for 5 years and responsible for Research Practice Integration.

Professor Madden has served as a member and adviser to various professional and government bodies and has participated in the development of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, Eating Disorder Guidelines for professionals and consumers. He has been a steering committee chair for the Federal Government, funded National Eating Disorder Collaboration

Professor Madden is one of Australia’s foremost researchers in the eating disorder field and has published over 100 peer reviewed scientific articles and abstracts. He has been a chief investigator on multiple NHMRC grants. Prof Madden’s research has three major foci including the treatment of anorexia nervosa, early onset eating disorders and the neurobiology of eating disorders.

Treatment Services

Dr Meagher is a Psychiatrsit who provides a comprehensive psychiatric assessment service, working collaboratively with other members of the patient’s treating team to optimise functioning. Dr Meagher also provides treatment on an ongoing basis, with a focus on CBT and mindfulness based cognitive therapy. Dr Meagher’s private practice for assessing outpatients is at the Evesham Consulting rooms in Cremorne. He is also a visiting medical officer (VMO) with the Sydney Parkinson and Movement Disorders Surgical Clinic at North Shore Private Hospital and a VMO at the Mood Disorders Unit at Ramsay Clinic Northside.

About Dr Linton

Linton Meagher obtained his medical degree, with honours, from the University of Sydney. He completed his psychiatry training at the Royal North Shore Hospital, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) in 2008. He also completed post-fellowship RANZCP accreditation in the sub-speciality of Consultation-Liaison psychiatry and completed a Master of Psychiatry. He was awarded an Institute of Psychiatry Fellowship and a RANZCP Young Investigator Grant for specialised training in neuropsychiatry, focusing on the neuropsychiatric morbidity associated with Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson’s disease.
