When you’re struggling with mental health concerns, it’s important to get care that supports you as you heal. As Australia’s largest private provider of mental health services, we’re set up to do just that.
Whether you need help with depression, anxiety, substance misuse, relationship problems, eating disorders, grief or coping with significant change, our team of experienced psychologists, nurses and psychiatrists will work with you to develop a plan and build the right support around you.
Our Mental Health Clinics are available to support patients with mental health concerns. To visit one of our Mental Health Clinics, a referral from your GP is required.
The referral process varies depending on the type of care you need, as each mental health condition requires different care.
Our Mental Health Clinics provide inpatient and day patient programs as well as some clinics providing Hospital in the Home. We also provide outpatient neurostimulation services inclusive of ECT, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and some clinics provide ketamine treatment.
If you’re struggling with life’s changes, including relationship issues with family or partners, a psychologist may be right for you. You can see one of our psychologists either as a standalone plan or following psychiatric care with Ramsay Mental Health.
You don’t need a referral to see a psychologist – however if you have been referred to us by your GP on a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be able to recover part of the cost of your treatment through Medicare for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Please note a gap fee also applies, which is payable by you. Psychologists near you.

Day programs are structured, supportive group settings where you visit the clinic during the day but return home at night.
Our programs are designed to help you build life skills, manage symptoms, and prevent relapse into behaviours that may have caused issues for you – so you can get back to enjoying daily life.
Speak to your GP, psychologist or psychiatrist to determine whether a day program might be right for you. Find out more about getting a referral.
Our inpatient care is a holistic approach to treating not just your mental health concerns but your overall psychological, social and physical health as well. As an inpatient, you would stay at one of our clinics for a period of time.
Our inpatient teams include psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and other allied health professionals who are there to support you in your recovery.
