An important notice regarding health fund wait periods for psychiatric services
Waiting period exemption for psychiatric care benefits:
Eligible consumers may be able to access private psychiatric hospital benefits through an instant policy upgrade, without serving an additional waiting period. Please enquire for further details, as this may assist your access to our Mental Health services.
*The waiting period does not apply to upgrades where consumers have already served their 2 month waiting period on lower cover policies.
