You do not need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment (in person or via telehealth) at Ramsay Psychology West Perth. However, if you have been referred by your GP with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate. This will cover part of the cost of a number of sessions in a calendar year. Your doctor can address the referral to Ramsay Psychology or specifically to one of our psychologists. If you do not already have a Mental Health Treatment Plan and you wish to access this rebate, contact your GP or psychiatrist.
Clients who hold private health insurance may be eligible for a partial refund. Contact your health fund for more information.

Ramsay Psychology provides psychometric testing. This is a process by which a person’s cognitive, psychological, emotional and behavioural functioning is comprehensively assessed through a detailed interview and standardised testing. Psychometric testing may be needed for a new or corrected diagnosis of certain conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disorders and Dementia.

Gabriella is a warm and empathetic Registered Psychologist with experience working in both clinical and community settings, supporting clients presenting with various difficulties across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds. She has special interests in mood disorders, anxiety disorders (including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, panic, and phobias), OCD, bipolar disorders, grief and loss, interpersonal and relationship issues, stress, ADHD, and personality disorders. Gabriella has additional interest in conducting cognitive and ADHD assessments.

Ghazal completed her undergraduate and Post Graduate Psychology Degree at Curtin University and received a Post Graduate Degree in International Health also from Curtin University. Ghazal then completed a Master of Psychology in Organisational Psychology at the University of Western Australia. Ghazal has a passion for learning and has most recently completed a Master of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Edith Cowan University.
