Treatment Areas

Ramsay Psychology is a psychology and counselling service that works with people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life to support them through the challenges life can bring.

Common conditions we help with include managing feelings of anxiety, stress or depression, which can be situational or can appear unrelated to what’s going on in someone’s life.

We also help with developing healthy coping mechanisms and strategies in day-to-day life, where people might currently be using unhealthy behaviours to manage. This might include behaviours such as misuse or dependence on  alcohol, or, something more subtle such as irregular sleeping and eating patterns or lack of physical activity.

We have a large team of psychologists who are passionate about supporting children, teenagers, adults, couples and families experiencing a wide range of mental health stressors, symptoms and conditions such as:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Stress or burnout
  • Grief and loss
  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress
  • Addiction and substance misuse or dependence
  • Significant changes in life
  • Life transitions and adjustments
  • Eating concerns and disorders
  • Pre and postnatal challenges
  • Personality and bipolar disorders
  • Family and relationship issues
  • Identity or self-harm issues
  • Chronic illness effects
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Our experienced team take a flexible and compassionate approach to mental health care in order to help clients reach their goals and thrive long after they have completed their sessions.

The team uses a range of evidence-based therapy models in treatment, including:
