Our highly experienced psychologists are trained in the latest treatment techniques and are ready to provide support to children, adolescents, adults and older persons.

Our team at Ramsay Psychology Fortitude Valley is made up of degree-qualified psychologists, who are registered with APHRA and offer a wide range of evidence-based therapies.

Referrals

You do not need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment (in person or via telehealth) at Ramsay Psychology . However, if you have been referred by your GP with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate. This will cover part of the cost of a number of sessions in a calendar year. Your doctor can address the referral to Ramsay Psychology or specifically to one of our psychologists. If you do not already have a Mental Health Treatment Plan and you wish to access this rebate, contact your GP or psychiatrist.

Clients who hold private health insurance may be eligible for a partial refund. Contact your health fund for more information.

Ramsay Psychology psychologists and practice staff offer concessions and fee structures for individuals who are Concession Card Holders, or covered by NDIS (self-funded only), MAIC, OSHC and WorkCover. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We also work with self- and plan-managed NDIS participants.

Sebastian is a Clinical Psychologist offering compassionate, collaborative and non-judgemental psychotherapy for individuals and couples. Originally from and trained in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he has completed two Bachelor’s degrees (Philosophy and Psychology) at the Argentinian Catholic University. In 2012, he moved to Adelaide to study a Master of Clinical Psychology at Flinders University. Besides Buenos Aires and Adelaide, Sebastian has also lived and worked in the USA, Spain, New Zealand and country NSW. More recently, he has decided to relocate to Brisbane and make it his new home.

Ros has more than 20 years’ experience as a Registered Psychologist and has worked in diverse settings including universities, medical centres, and a fertility clinic. She has a particular interest in women’s health, guiding women through difficult transitions at every stage in their lives; from the rollercoaster of infertility, IVF and birth trauma through to peri and post menopause. She aims to develop a warm, compassionate and collaborative relationship and is experienced in helping people resolve many of life’s challenges. She helps her clients deal with a broad range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, work-related stress, adjustment difficulties including retrenchment, transition to university and study-related issues, coping with illness and disease and more. Ros utilises an integrative approach to her work that is evidence based and customised to each client’s unique needs. Ros draws upon a range of interventional techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, clinical hypnosis and EMDR.

Veronica Randjelovic has worked in clinical mental health settings in rural, regional and urban areas. She is passionate about the connection between mental health, physical health, and well-being. During Veronica’s training, she developed a special interest in helping individuals understand how attachment theory can impact adult mental health, behaviours and relationships. Veronica has also gained knowledge and experience in the corporate and private sector. She has assisted many people overcome workplace stressors, including conflict and trauma, and has helped build resilience. Veronica provides individual coaching to help people harness their strengths, achieve their goals and reach their potential.  Veronica’s clinical practice is eclectic in nature and based on the most effective and suitable approach to help a person achieve a sense of well-being and fulfillment. She achieves this by gaining an in-depth understanding of a person’s presenting issues, their unique needs and desired goals. Veronica’s compassion creates a calm, therapeutic space that allows a person to feel accepted and safe.

Tania has worked as a Psychologist for more than 20 years.  She has maintained a strong interest in understanding human behaviour, connecting with people and working alongside them to build autonomy and valued living. She has spent many years working in the area of adolescent and adult mental health providing individual therapy on a long-term basis as well as group programs. This has included working in the area of eating disorders, suicidality, self-harm, depression and anxiety. She also has experience working in domestic violence, child protection, residential facilities, child and family support services, ATSI communities and community development projects.

Alison is Registered Psychologist with a long history in health services. She was initially trained as a Registered Nurse, then an Endorsed Midwife prior to completing her degree in psychology. Her training in the diverse areas of health allow her to integrate the knowledge and experience over a long career to provide a client-centred approach which can help clients improve their wellbeing, relationships and lived experience. Alison is particularly interested in trauma and how it can affect all aspects of a person’s life. This includes relationships, substance use, emotional health and wellbeing, employment and overall mental health.
