Priscilla is a friendly, compassionate, supportive and empowering Registered Psychologist with AHPRA and the APS (Australian Psychology Society). She has worked over the last 20 years across the metropolitan, rural and remote communities in health, the public sector and school settings. Priscilla has worked with children, adolescents and adults across the life span including clients with substance abuse issues, justice, disabilities, learning and behavioural difficulties, complex trauma and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
She holds a Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary), Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and Bachelor of Science (Psychology). Priscilla has a special interest in children and adolescent psychology, working with clients under the age of 18 years and their families.
Priscilla is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She uses the principles of trauma-informed Practice and positive behaviours when working with children, adolescents and their families.
Priscilla is also a trained Triple P facilitator who enjoys working collaboratively with families to provide clear and practical strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships, confidently manage their children’s behavior and prevent problems developing. She has extensive experience working with children in the areas of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, language delays, mental health and behavioural concerns, Educational concerns / Specific Learning Difficulties and Developmental Delays.
