Dr Noon is an experienced psychiatrist who has worked in various locations across Australia’s eastern states prior to settling in Perth.
Originally from the UK, Dr Noon was formerly an emergency doctor and in Australia, has worked with RFDS. This background has provided him with valuable experience and insight across the breadth of medicine.

Clinical Practice
Prof. Brian Power is a Consultant Neuropsychiatrist at Hollywood Private Hospital and The HollywoodClinic, Nedlands. His special interest include:
His neuropsychiatry practice caters for patients with psychiatric conditions secondary to organic brain disease. Particularly neurological disorders including, stroke, multiple sclerosis, parkinsonian disorders, Huntington’s disease, seizure disorders. His older Adult Mental Health service treats patients with psychiatric conditions including problems with mood and anxiety symptoms, psychotic symptoms, and memory complaints.
Background & Training
Professor Brian Power obtained his postgraduate medical degree at The University of Sydney, together with his PhD in clinical neuroscience at The Institute for Biomedical Research, investigating the brain circuitry of the thalamus. He obtained specialist registration as a psychiatrist in Western Australia, and completed subspecialist training in psychiatry of old age before working as a consultant psychogeriatrician in the South Metropolitan Area Health Service. His clinical expertise is in neuropsychiatry and older adult mental health.
He has extensive postdoctoral research experience in neuropsychiatry and neuroimaging, with a research focus on investigating the thalamus as a putative neuroimaging biomarker in neurodegenerative disorders. He is passionate about medical education and fostering the development of tomorrow’s doctors, and has recently served as Professor and A/Dean (Preclinical) at The School of Medicine Fremantle (University of Notre Dame Australia). He is now Adjunct Professor at UNDA and continues to enjoy research and teaching activities.
Dr Mathew Samuel obtained his MBBS and FRAWZCP at the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Psychiatry as well as a Certificate in Old Age Psychiatry at the faculty of Old Age Psychiatry.
As well as this he also has a Diploma in Psychological Medicine at the National Institute of Mental Health & Neuroscience.
