Our highly experienced psychologists are trained in the latest treatment techniques and are ready to provide support to children, adolescents, adults and older persons.

Our team at Ramsay Psychology Maroochydore is made up of degree-qualified psychologists, who are registered with APHRA and offer a wide range of evidence-based therapies.

Referrals

You do not need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment (in person or via telehealth) at Ramsay Psychology Maroochydore. However, if you have been referred by your GP with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate. This will cover part of the cost of a number of sessions in a calendar year. Your doctor can address the referral to Ramsay Psychology or specifically to one of our psychologists. If you do not already have a Mental Health Treatment Plan and you wish to access this rebate, contact your GP or psychiatrist.

Clients who hold private health insurance may be eligible for a partial refund. Contact your health fund for more information.

Ramsay Psychology psychologists and practice staff offer concessions and fee structures for individuals who are Concession Card Holders, or covered by NDIS (self-funded only), MAIC, OSHC and WorkCover. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Leigh-Anne Chester

Registered Psychologist

Leigh-Anne is a Registered Psychologist with qualifications including a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). Leigh-Anne has an interest in working with all ages using a strengths-based approach to understand one’s lived experience and enhance future neurological development and coping. Leigh-Anne has extensive experience working in the field of education, school guidance, parenting, neurodiversity  and trauma.

Patty Marriner

Registered Psychologist

Patty strives to provide a warm, genuine and transparent approach for all clients, establishing a trusting and collaborative therapeutic alliance. Her belief is that the integration of evidence-based treatments with a reciprocal authentic relationship leads to improved client outcomes. She has a particular therapeutic interest in working with adults and adolescents in the areas of neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD & ASD) and challenging behaviours; particularly emotional and behavioural dysregulation and difficulties with attachment or trauma backgrounds and emerging personality disorders. She has experience in providing psychometric assessment and interventions for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties and behavioural problems. She works with young adults to help manage life transitions, depression, anxiety, stress and relaxation. She also has experience working with new parents to manage postnatal depression, parenting anxiety and assisting in adjusting to parenthood. Patty is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi).
