You do not need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment (in person or via telehealth) at Ramsay Psychology Erina. However, if you have been referred by your GP with a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be able to claim a Medicare rebate. This will cover part of the cost of a number of sessions in a calendar year. Your doctor can address the referral to Ramsay Psychology or specifically to one of our psychologists. If you do not already have a Mental Health Treatment Plan and you wish to access this rebate, contact your GP or psychiatrist.
Clients who hold private health insurance may be eligible for a partial refund. Contact your health fund for more information.
Ramsay Psychology psychologists and practice staff offer concessions and fee structures for individuals who are Concession Card Holders, or covered by NDIS (self-funded only), SIRA, OSHC and WorkCover. These are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We also work with self- and plan-managed NDIS participants.

Ramsay Psychology provides psychometric testing. This is a process by which a person’s cognitive, psychological, emotional and behavioural functioning is comprehensively assessed through a detailed interview and standardised testing. Psychometric testing may be needed for a new or corrected diagnosis of certain conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disorders and Dementia.

She is experienced working with a range of mental health presentations across the lifespan, though has a particular interest in working with adolescents and adults. Abbey has worked in private practice for a number of years, as well as in the secondary education system. Georgie is a Registered Psychologist and a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner. With a special interest in neurodevelopmental disorders (ASD and ADHD) and neurocognitive disorders, Georgie is passionate about ensuring all individuals have access to opportunities that ensure quality of life and overall psychological wellbeing.
