Dr Johanna Meyer

Dr Johanna Meyer is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychology Board-Approved Supervisor who uses evidence-based therapies to help adults with a variety of mental health concerns. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree (with Honours) and a Master’s degree in Psychology in the United States, she moved to Australia and obtained a combined Master of Clinical Psychology/PhD degree (with Examiners’ Commendation for Outstanding Thesis) at the University of Wollongong. Johanna’s Honours, Masters, and PhD research all focused on enhancing the treatment of anxiety.Johanna has provided psychological intervention across many settings, including: not-for-profit organisations such as headspace, private practice, inpatient facilities, a specialist anxiety clinic, and university clinics. She has experience helping people with grief and loss, anger, low self-esteem, adjustment to difficult transitions, body-focussed repetitive behaviours (e.g., hair pulling, skin picking, nail biting), gender- and sexuality-related issues, poor body image, trauma, depression, stress, interpersonal difficulties, relationship breakdowns, attention/hyperactivity, and poor sleep.

Dr Kristen Lovric

Dr Kristen is a clinical psychologist with a Master of Psychology/PhD (Clinical Psychology). Kristen currently offers individual therapy sessions both at the Ramsay Psychology Ipswich private practice and via telehealth Monday to Friday for young adults through to older persons and has experience working with clients in similar clinical settings across both the Toowoomba and Ipswich regions.

Dr Sarah Wrigley

Clinical Psychologist

Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist with more than 20 years of experience. She uses this experience to create a calm, compassionate and safe therapeutic environment for her clients. She has a particular interest in using psychological therapies to treat problematic symptoms of menopause, and working with people experiencing anxiety presentations such as panic attacks, social anxiety and specific phobias. Sarah takes a client-led approach to therapy, aiming for her clients to experience a sense of being understood, and to learn ways to achieve good mental health. She has worked in a range of settings, such as public mental health, primary care psychology and private practice, both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Sarah provides supervision to psychologists in training and qualified psychologists, and is a lecturer in post-graduate psychology. She enjoys working with individual clients and delivering therapy in group settings.

Dr Simone Schuetz

Simone is a Registered Psychologist with more than 10 years of experience working therapeutically with a diverse range of adult clients. Simone’s areas of interest include supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues and recovery from trauma. She is interested in supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and from the LGBTIQA+ community. Much of her training has focussed on trauma and trauma recovery. Simone works with university students, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and clients in private practice. With a compassionate, non-judgmental and gentle approach, Simone aims to create a safe space for clients to explore their experience, values and goals within a trusting therapeutic relationship in order to create meaningful change. Simone’s approach is collaborative, client-centred and trauma-informed and she adjusts her approach based on each client’s individual needs. Simone has a special interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy.

Dr Sophia Franks

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Sophia Franks is a clinical psychologist with over twenty-four years of experience working as a psychologist within both public and private sectors in the areas of child and adolescent, perinatal, and adult psychiatry. She takes an empathic and research-based approach to providing psychological care, working closely with individuals and families to support their mental health, well-being and functioning. Dr Franks completed her PhD in the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. During this time, she was appointed to a senior psychology position and was awarded a Murdoch Institute grant for her research, which the International Association published for the Study of Pain.

Dr Stefan Rethfeldt

Elizabeth Hayes

Registered Psychologist

Elizabeth is a Registered Psychologist, a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor. She has more than 15 years experience working in both public health and private practice with a diverse range of clientele and presentations. This has included roles in public hospital addiction services and mental health, as well as private practice and several years in a leadership role proving psychological treatment to participants in a Court Diversion Program. Elizabeth is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy and EMDR, with additional training and expertise in the treatment of trauma and complex pain conditions. As a psychologist, Elizabeth is warm, enthusiastic and practical, clients are treated with respect and consultations focus on recovery and client strengths. Elizabeth has provided training to health professionals in the areas of addiction and pain management and provides clinical supervision to intern and more experienced psychologists. She is available to provide services under Medicare and Workcover NSW schemes, both face to face and via telehealth. Emily Lew

Emily is a Clinical Psychologist who provides confidential therapy in a safe, caring and respectful way. She has practiced in both Australia and Hong Kong, in counselling centres, non-profit organisations, hospitals, schools and in private practice. With more than 10 years of experience in the field, she is well versed in working with adults and children from diverse cultures and backgrounds who experience a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, interpersonal/relationship problems, grief and loss, trauma, obsessive behaviours and addictions, as well as issues relating to personal growth and life direction. Emily’s gentle and supportive approach has helped many individuals find relief from their symptoms and reach a place of genuine and greater wellbeing. She adopts a client-centered, integrated approach to treatment, based on psychodynamic, attachment, emotion-focused, mindfulness and cognitive/behavioural theories.

Farah Gulamoydeen

Registered Psychologist

Farah is a Psychologist with a Master of Clinical Psychology degree and around 12 years of experience. She was born and raised in Malaysia and moved to Australia as a professional. She has work experience in both countries, the majority of it in Australia, in EAP and private practice settings. Farah chose to specialise in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) eight years ago and practises it in her own life. Apart from working with clients, she conducts training and supervision in ACT for other mental health professionals as it is important to her to contribute to society at a larger level too.
