Alison is Registered Psychologist with a long history in health services. She was initially trained as a Registered Nurse, then an Endorsed Midwife prior to completing her degree in psychology. Her training in the diverse areas of health allow her to integrate the knowledge and experience over a long career to provide a client-centred approach which can help clients improve their wellbeing, relationships and lived experience. Alison is particularly interested in trauma and how it can affect all aspects of a person’s life. This includes relationships, substance use, emotional health and wellbeing, employment and overall mental health.

This was followed by a two-year internship and practical application of her learnings at Ramsay Clinic in Cairns. Ruth has  a special interest working with adults and adolescents.

Dr Hannes Venter maintains a goal-informed, patient and empathic approach as a Clinical and Neuropsychologist, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for his clients. From a Clinical Psychology perspective, he has a special interest in working with clients with anxiety and mood difficulties, as well as those clients struggling with their self-esteem. Georgie is a Registered Psychologist and a Registered Behaviour Support Practitioner.
