Our Sydney Drug and Alcohol program is abstinence based. We support patients as they work towards the goal of living a drug and alcohol free life. The Drug and Alcohol day program focuses on two stages of recovery. Stage one addresses coming to terms with living drug/alcohol free and includes relapse prevention techniques. Stage two focuses on the underlying issues relevant to the development of emotional wellbeing and ongoing abstinence.
The Addiction Health Medical Clinic provides specialist assessment for individuals experiencing problems with their physical and/or mental health as a result of their alcohol and/or drug use.
This comprehensive one-on-one assessment service delivers you an individualised management plan addressing any alcohol or other substance use issues and may include medication recommendations together with psychological and/or social interventions.
