Dr Karthik Natarajan is a consultant psychiatrist based at Ramsay Clinics Macarthur and Northside, offering inpatient, outpatient and telehealth psychiatric care for people aged 16 to 65. He also holds an appointment as a Visiting Medical Officer at Royal North Shore Hospital. His clinical interests include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and young adult mental health.

Dr Natarajan completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle and his specialist psychiatry training at Royal North Shore Hospital and Ramsay Clinic Northside. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and holds a Professional Certificate in Youth Psychiatry from the University of Melbourne and Orygen. He is also passionate about medical education and holds an appointment as Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney Medical School.

Dr Natarajan takes a recovery-oriented, whole-person approach to mental health care. He works collaboratively with patients to develop a shared understanding of their experiences, personal circumstances and treatment goals. His evidence-based approach may combine medication, psychotherapy, practical strategies and lifestyle interventions, tailored to each person’s individual needs and preferences.
