Information for carers

Caring for a loved one with a mental health condition can be both difficult and rewarding.

Ramsay Mental Health recognises the important role that you play in your loved one’s wellbeing and recovery. Our team will strive to involve you in discussions and treatment decision making, so that you feel comfortable with the care we are providing to your loved one.

We also recognise that you need to feel supported and cared for during this time. You may be able to access a carer support group where you can network with other carers and learn strategies for managing you role.
