Leigh-Anne is a Registered Psychologist with qualifications including a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). Leigh-Anne has an interest in working with all ages using a strengths-based approach to understand one’s lived experience and enhance future neurological development and coping. Leigh-Anne has extensive experience working in the field of education, school guidance, parenting, neurodiversity and trauma.
Leigh-Anne also works with people dealing with a range of health issues such as pain, brain injury, rehabilitation, dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, and chronic pain.
Leigh-Anne enjoys working collaboratively with clients to tailor therapy to meet their needs using evidence-based therapy approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Circle of Security Parenting (COSP), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Leigh-Anne is attentive in meeting client’s needs with warmth and understanding and is passionate about enhancing positive growth. On a personal level, Leigh-Anne values family, learning, new foods, and nature and is currently training her puppy Lulu, to become a therapy dog.
