Associate Professor Mahesh Jayaram trained initially in London and Leeds (UK) and completed his Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2004. He then worked as a consultant in the NHS for 7 years prior to moving to Melbourne in 2013 and obtained his Fellowship with RANZCP. In addition to his clinical role, he works as Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne where he is the coordinator for all Graduate Courses within the Department of Psychiatry.

Dr Gallagher is a member of the faculties of both Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as well as Adult Psychiatry; in addition to this he is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders. He treats a broad range of psychiatric conditions with interests in somatisation disorders (this includes eating disorders). Applying a varied approach to his practice he tailors ethical, holistic management to the individual and their condition. This includes working with the family and extended support network.

I have completed advanced/additional training in Aged Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). I am a member of the Professorial Psychiatry Unit at the Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, and I am also a Senior Fellow (Honorary) at the University of Melbourne.

Dr Claire Wise received her medical degree with honours from Monash University. She also completed a Bachelor of Medical Science with honours in the field of psycho-oncology, which lead to a placement at Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Centre in New York City, working with the consultation liaison psychiatry team in psycho-oncology.

Dr David Leonard graduated from Medicine in Sydney and trained in Psychiatry in UK (London and Edinburgh) returning to Melbourne to work in leadership and educational roles in public psychiatry before coming to Ramsay Clinic Albert Road, formerly known as Albert Road Clinic, 20 years ago. Dr Leonard has had a number of academic positions at Melbourne and Monash universities and has been a member of the Professorial Unit here at RCAR during his time here. He has focused on complex PTSD and in particular dissociative disorder. Dr Leonard has researched, lectured and published in this area. He is currently semi-retired but is providing a consultation service for people with complex PTSD and dissociative disorder. Dr Leonard can provide short term treatment, including, inpatient treatment to people with these disorders.

Dr Deb Sahhar is a Psychiatrist, practising since 1998 in both private and public psychiatry. She has an interest in mood disorders and clinical focus in older individuals. Dr Sahhar focuses on both pharmacological as well as psychological approach.
