Ted Quan believes in a culturally sensitive, client centred approach to mental health. He brings with him over 25 years’ experience working as a psychologist in public and private hospitals, community health centres and other clinical settings. Ted has been clinical supervisor to many psychology interns, and he has been lecturer to postgraduate psychology students, specialising in CBT and the treatment of depression and anxiety.

Ted Quan believes in a culturally sensitive, client centred approach to mental health. He brings with him over 25 years’ experience working as a psychologist in public and private hospitals, community health centres and other clinical settings.  Ted has been clinical supervisor to many psychology interns, and he has been lecturer to postgraduate psychology students, specialising in CBT and the treatment of depression and anxiety. Early intervention services for emerging mental disorders in young people has been an area of interest. Ted had been a member of the International Early Psychosis Association (IEPA) since 1995. And has worked as Senior Clinician on Prof. Pat McGorry's early psychosis treatment program (headspace).

Ted has provided Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and PSTD services to the Australian Hotels Association, and NSW Police. He has also worked as a psychologist in developmental disabilities, and in support of people with moderate to severe Autism.  Ted has served on various committees and boards including: the Clinical Excellence Commission of NSW; appointed by the Minister of Health to the Sydney West Area Health Advisory Council; Official Visitor to Westmead Hospital; and HKR Division of General Practice.

More recently, Ted has returned from working in Europe at the Institute of Neuropsychiatric Care in Prague. From young people to seniors, Ted is dedicated to working to improve people's quality of life in our fast-changing world.
