Dr Claire King

Dr Claire King is a Specialist Psychiatrist with advanced training in the treatment of addiction. 

Dr King has a holistic, tailored approach to psychiatric treatment that seeks to offer patients the latest in evidence-based psychiatric care.

Dr King completed her medical training at Peninsula Medical School, University of Exeter in 2012. Dr King trained as a specialist Psychiatrist in Perth, Western Australia, and has recently made Cairns her new home.

Dr King is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and a member of the Faculty of Addiction Psychiatry.  She holds an Advanced Certificate of Addiction Psychiatry.

Dr King accepts both inpatients at Ramsay Clinic Cairns and private outpatients at the Queensland TMS Clinic. . Her services include assessment and management of the following:
