Dr Kaufmann is a Psychiatrist who has expertise in the treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating disorder, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. She adopts a holistic and tailored approach to management with the use of both pharmacological treatment as well as psychological techniques, especially CBT and ACT as well as some DBT.

Dr Cornelia Kaufmann is a psychiatrist with interests in eating disorders and mood disorders. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. Dr Kaufmann initially trained in paediatric medicine at the children’s hospital at Westmead, before switching to psychiatry.
Dr Kaufmann is also a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney and is responsible for the teaching of medical students in psychiatry. She is also on the editorial boards for the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry and the Journal of Eating Disorders.
